Forensic Interview Project Lead

Cory Bryant is a development and facilitation specialist with the Alliance.  She works collaboratively on a contract specific to forensic interviewing with the staff of Adult Protective Services as well as other projects, developing curriculum and facilitating training.   

After receiving her MSW at the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work, Cory began her career in social work working with foster youth in Texas and then with the child protection agency in Alaska where she worked with children and families. Cory has experience developing and managing programs that work with victims of child maltreatment and sexual assault.  Cory is experienced in forensic interviewing and as a trainer for those learning to do forensic interviews.  

Cory is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and has experience coaching leaders who work in child welfare. In 2014, Cory took her experience and transitioned it into developing curriculum, training, and coaching for the Child Welfare Academy with the University of Alaska Anchorage.  She transitioned to working with the Alliance in 2021. Cory is passionate about the forensic interviewing field. She enjoys supporting others in their skill development with the goal of safety for all.
