Accessibility Statement

The Alliance offers support for all learners.

If you need specific services around accessibility, you can contact us at AllianceSupport@uw.edu. We offer an opportunity to sign up for interpreting services during the registration process for classes.

We offer webinars via Zoom, which has many built-in tools. You can learn more about keyboard shortcuts on the Zoom website or on UW’s Accessibility page.

Digital Accessibility

The Alliance is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone. We are continually improving the user experience and applying the relevant standards.

Conformance status: The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The template on which this website is built, WordPress Astra, follows WCAG 2.0 standards. It meets the AA level, which is essential for usability.
