Intellum Transition

Meet our new learning management system! Log in to Intellum here.

We have now transitioned to Intellum. Sept. 30 was the last day the former system (Ethos) was available.

If you had completions in Ethos, your account and completions should have been moved over to Intellum. Please check your email for your account password and email us at AllianceSupport@uw.edu with any questions. Please check to make sure you do not have an account before creating a new one. Each individual is only permitted one account.

If you are having trouble seeing available courses when you log in, please try updating your required profile fields. Click on your profile icon in the top right and then settings in order to review these fields. In particular, make sure that your “Training Organization” is set to Alliance and that your role is accurate.

To see Spanish language courses, please change your locale at the bottom of the page.

Below you can find an introduction and overview to the Intellum system and a short video on mobile phone navigation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Check that you are logged in and have completed your account registration. Once logged into your account, you will be able to see all upcoming training dates. If there are still no upcoming training dates, it is likely we are not offering that course within the next two months.

Check that you are logged in and have completed your account profile. Once logged into your account, you will be able to register for courses.

If your profile is up to date and you are still not able to register or view any courses, you may not be eligible. If you are not a child welfare staff member with Washington DCYF, a Washington CPA staff member, an employee of a Tribe located in Washington state, a CASA/GAL/judicial staff member supporting Washington child welfare cases, a Family Time provider in Washington, or a current or prospective foster or kinship parent (licensed or unlicensed) caring for a Washington child, you will not be eligible for an account. You may still access the trainings shown below without having to create an account. You may receive a certificate at the end of these courses, but the Alliance will not track or store your training records

Make sure that you update your timezone in your profile in order to see course times in Pacific time, otherwise you will see them in UTC by default.

All completions have now been imported as of October 3rd. If you are still not seeing completions you are expecting, please reach out to us at AllianceSupport@uw.edu.

Nope! You can take the Mandatory Reporter class without an account here: https://risewiththealliance.org/programs/development-and-support-for-caregivers/mandatory-reporter/. Please note that your certificate will not be saved, and if you are pursuing foster home licensure, we strongly recommend creating an account and taking the course in Intellum.

If you are currently registered for a different upcoming CaRES Special Event, click the “Find Another Time” button on the right side of the screen. Using this pop-up, you can see and register for all upcoming CaRES Special Events.

If you do not see any upcoming events, please make sure that you are logged in and have completed your registration.
