Megan Blomquist is a Development and Facilitation Specialist at the Alliance, where she plays a role on the Continued Learning Team. With a well-rounded background in social services, Megan brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for working with children and families.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Megan served in various capacities across Southwest Washington with Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, and Child Advocacy Centers (CACs). Her work with non-profits in Eastern Washington further solidified her commitment to supporting individuals who face challenges accessing behavioral health and medical resources, enriching her dedication to underserved communities.
Megan has also made significant contributions to the field by presenting on a diverse array of child welfare topics at numerous national and international conferences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Disability and Addiction Studies.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling and appreciating the unique beauty of Western Washington’s rainy days. Her smile is often inspired by Portland’s vibrant culinary scene, her cherished dogs, and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
