John Hernandez

John Hernandez is The Alliance’s Data Control Technician.

 

Prior to joining the University of Washington, John (Jack) worked more than 22 years for the State of Nevada, first in the Department of Public Safety and then at Enterprise Information Technology Services.

 

Additionally, Jack is a veteran in law enforcement as well as a former soldier in the U.S. Army. He has a long history of public service; prime motivation is to be in the service of others.

 

Jack acquired his computer skills at Lake Tahoe Community College, along with courses taken directly with IBM. Always striving to keep up with current technology, he was also updating his skills with courses provided through the State of Nevada for ongoing training.

 

When not at work, Jack is a happy family man who enjoys creating art, loves film, music, his dogs and other animals, and cooking.
