Development and Facilitation Specialist

Erin is a Development and Facilitation Specialist with the Alliance since 2023. Erin resides on the Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Erin began her work in the social services field at a non-profit working with families and expecting parents. Erin participated in AmeriCorps while at the non-profit and enjoyed working in a multitude of the programs at the agency. She went on to work as a Parent Child Assistance (PCAP) advocate until she began working for the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).

Erin started her career at DCYF in Child and Family Welfare Services then switched to Child Protection Services for Investigations and Family Assessment Response (FAR). Erin became the Family Team Decision Making (FTDM) and Shared planning meeting facilitator. Her last position at DCYF was as a CPS Supervisor.

While working as an FTDM facilitator, Erin found her passion for working with parents, caregivers, youth and community members in a collaborative effort to support families to be healthy. As a supervisor, Erin realized her love of helping staff navigate and learn the skills needed to support children and families in the child welfare system.

Erin holds both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Psychology. Erin prefers to spend her time exploring the outdoors with her dogs and her partner. With the Olympic National park as her backyard, there is always a perfect trail to hike or body of water to enjoy.
